For the 2024-25 School Year, we have several forms that parents/students may need to complete. We will be doing registration online through JMC. Starting August 1st, you will be able to log onto your Parent JMC Account and complete the registration process. Go to ehawks.onlinejmc.com, click on Family and enter your Username and Password. If you do not currently have access to JMC, please contact the office to get this access set-up. If you forgot your password, click Forgot Password and you will be sent an e-mail to update this information.

We will again complete school registration online this year. This process will be updated and ready for parents to complete on August 1st. Please read the directions on the online registration carefully and double check that all steps have been completed. For any families that need assistance with this process, please contact the office in the building in which your student attends to schedule an appointment. We will have computers and secretaries available to help parents with this process if you do not have access at home or need assistance.

The District is asking all parents to pay their fees online through JMC. Resources to access this information is below and contained in the registration process. For the 2024-25 School Year, the District will not assess any fees for these online payments.

According to Iowa Law, students must have the following:

• 9th graders:

  • Dental Screening with signed certificate (copy below) returned to the School Nurse.

    • Dental Screening Information

    • Certificate of Dental Screening

• 12th graders: Vaccine requirements and information

Palo Alto County Health System will be holding a Back-to-School walk in clinic on Thursday, August 15th from 4-7pm at the Emmetsburg hospital.  The following providers and services will be available during this clinic: 

• iSmile - dental exams and fluoride varnish for those students going into kindergarten and 9th grade

• Lions Club - Vision exams for those students going into kindergarten and 3rd grade

• Maternal and Child Health - lead screens for those students going into kindergarten not previously screened

• Palo Alto County Community Health/Family Practice Clinic- immunizations for those students going into kindergarten, 7th or 12th grade or those students who are behind in shots  

Information booths on Hawk-i, Medicaid, immunizations/health topics, transportation safety and county resources will also be available.  

Free drawstring backpack with water bottle available for all students present while supplies last.

Parents can now pay their registration fees and add to their lunch accounts directly in JMC. Log into your Family JMC Account and go to the menu on the left and click Tuition/Fees. You will see all fees listed here. The textbook fees have been loaded into the accounts. You will click on Pay My Bill at the top to pay these fees. If your student is participating in sports or would like to purchase a yearbook or activity ticket, click on Purchase Items and scroll through this list to find the appropriate fee listed. Click Add to Cart and these will be added to your fees. NOTE: The fees already in your account will need to be checked out and processed before adding the new charges. Anything added to your cart will need to be checked out separately.

Once all fees are in the cart, click Check Out and follow the check out process to successfully complete payment. You must pay for the loaded fees separately from any Purchased Items you add. Here is a video to watch that will walk you through this process, if needed: Fees Video. NOTE: There will be NO FEES assessed to you for paying these fees online. You can either pay online or mail/drop payment off at the school on or before August 12th.

• Student Handbook Signature Page - Log into JMC and sign electronically through the registration process

• Electronic Device Policy - Log into JMC and sign the signature page electronically through the registration process. This document will be reviewed with students when they receive their device.

Any students in grades 7-12 that plan to participate in athletics will need to complete the registration process through Bound.  Please print and have the physical completed, parents need to sign this form also, and print, sign and upload with your Bound Registration.  Concussion forms will be signed and confirmed on Bound as well, during the registration process.

Bound Link - parents will create a unique Family Account to complete registration for students involved in sports, as well as, purchasing activity tickets. To create an account, click the link and then click Registration.

Physical Form - Print form or pick-up a copy at the High School or Middle School Office, get it completed and then upload signed physical to Bound.
